Reading the sunday papers shari law wants stopping right now in this country before it takes hold

Other things have taken hold already. Nativity plays have disappeared from schools, Christmas stamps under the counter unless you specifically ask for them, halal meat in pizzas and subway sandwich shops, certain advertising boards removed because they 'cause offence' to name but a few.

there are plenty of people on AB calling for sharia-style penalties - castration for sex offenders, executions for all. It might prove very popular if implemented.

Plenty Nativity Plays, religious cards and Christmas stamps here Butterbun, and pizzas and sandwiches can be bought halal or non halal.

My Town is very multicultural and always has been.

I find that some of the people who rage against Sharia Law are the biggest supporters of some of it's ideals.

ie, death penalty, amputation for thieves, castration for sex offenders.

Our last play at the school at Christmas was a Harry Potter scene otherwise some children would not be allowed to act in it, and yes, if we do not ask for the Christmas stamps you were given flowery ones. I prefer those with a religious emblem on them so I had to ask for them. I makes it more 'Christmassy' in my opinion.
