Avast Blocking My External Hard Drive

My Avast demanded to be updated yesterday, so I did. Now when I plug my external hard drive in (a little Maxell portable) nothing comes up and I can't back things up. I assume these two events are connected as there was no trouble till today.

Is there any way to tell Avast to permit it? Or of restoring the earlier Avast? (Though I assume the latter would be risky.)

(Please don't advise installing MSE instead as I had the same trouble with it in the past; that's why I installed Avast in the first place.)

Rellik is about a serial killer but it goes back in time What you see is the end at the beginning if you see what I mean .It seemed a bit confusing at first as they wind the time back .

Very windy out there. The storm soon passed last night .Bit of a flash in the pan really .I think it was worse in the north of the county .

Yes she does grimace a lot Neti .He's a piece of work alright.He seems determined to destroy her but she hasn't exactly done herself any favours either and is turning into a ***.I like Neil Stuke but he doesn't seem to have such a big role in this series..

We are having the day from hell here. Lots of very squally and black bits racing across which scare the dogs and have given me a migraine. Dogs are so stressed that they are bickering which never ever happens. Can't take migraine med as it puts me to sleep and dogs need supervising. Oh and some ****hole dinged my front bumper at the dentist last week. I didn't realise till after I got home, not that I could have done anything as he/she had driven off already.

Neti, Shaney is right, that Eurax is brilliant stuff. I have also got 1% steroid cream which is great if you get it on straight away. Its non prescription, I got mine in Tesco.

Evening all....it's been very windy with showers but not as bad as expected even though the noisy gusts woke me up in the night. Went down Mexico way this morning, I'd been dreading battling the elements but luckily it was dry and bright. He really is a lovely doctor, I want to jump on the couch and tell him my life story :) He said I need to go somewhere warm for the winter but he didn't give me a prescription for a villa in the sun.

I watched Dr Foster but I don't think I'll bother again, a whole hour of angst is tedious and I've never been a fan of Suranne Jones.
Watched Liar too, it's impossible to say which way that's going to go.

They don't sell Eurax in Spain and the chemist looked it up and nothing similar to be had. Spots are just popping up as I sit having a coffee, its horrible. Hija is annoting me, one min shes off to dubai then shes not. I want her gone!! I want to stop stressing over here and i want my car back!

well, I've been sitting here - inside - most of the day in winter gear: not quite my warmest jeans but two pairs of socks and my super big warm M&S cardi/jacket. It's still only mid September. What will I have on when it gets really cold?

Had to turn the heating on too but have so far resisted getting the electric blanket out.

You and me both Jno.I have a jumper and thick cardigan on and my fake Ug boots.I refuse to put the heating on in September and the Indian summer we were promised hasn't materialised.
It makes the winter so long when it suddenly changes like this.
To cap it all I made sausage and mash for dinner with some red cabbage .Mashed the spuds ,warmed up the cabbage ,took the sausages out of the oven and they were stone cold and raw .The oven has crashed.The fan has gone.Pee po belly bums or words to that effect:)
I think it'll have to be a new cooker as we've had the fan mended before but I think it's past saving this time.

Morning or not!! Had hair trimmed, I only have it spiked a bit at a time as I look like a GI if i let hm have his way! Id rather have it done every 2/3 weeks then be shorn!.
Annual music festival on Sunday, I suppose we'll go but Im too itchy. Am trying everything and at this moment hand sanitizer works the best!!
Shaney re: sausages didnt you wonder why you couldnt smell them cooking? We may have sausage, egg and chips tonight, good idea after all my haute cuisine dishes of this week!
Still stinking hot. Im sniffing, scratching and sweating, the 3 esses!!! Can wear dresses as legs coveted in scars and scabs. Elbow on left arm has swollen to twice it's size due to an unfortunate bite. Really peed off!

okay here - woken by a call from jno jnr on his way to work saying the train in front had had an explosion and everything was in chaos, but he's fine. All part of the ups and downs of life in the city, I'm afraid.

Just had cooked sausages (yes shaney!!) And chips and Mr N had a fried slice. We've started keeping eggs out of the fridge but they do not hold their shape when being fried. Not pleased.
