Screen brightness.

The brightness on the screen of my laptop is very dim. I assume it might be some kind of power saving but i have not to my knowledge changed anything, But other members of my family borrow it sometimes. I have had a look but dont want to start selecting things that might alter other settings.

The screen will often dim if you are running on battery rather than mains power, to save battery life.
