I am trying to play a DVD on my PC (Windows XP) and I get a message that Windows Media Player doesn't have a compatible DVD Decoder.

Can anyone advise if this is something I can download, and recommend one as I am nervous of downloading anything from random sites.

Grateful for any help or any other suggestions.

Thank you

Oh, and the bsplayer mickrog linked (?) to doesn't play DVDs unless you buy the pro version. (well it might play them if you have the correct system codecs installed, but if you had them installed then you wouldn't be asking this question)
