Windows Updates.

Each time I close down my computer, a message appears which tells me not to shut down or un-power because a Windows Update is being installed.

Nothing unusual one might think.! However I have checked Up-dates History and noted that the last seven have failed.....(Framework 4 on Windows XP, Windows Server 203.). No doubt because I operate on Windows Vista, not XP.

My question therefore is....Should I ignore the position or is it possible that there is something wrong which should be given attention?.

You are seeing that update because Vista is essentially the same underneath as server 2003 and is classed as such for some updates.

Try resetting windows up date..
