Wednesday. Overcast again out there, but at least it's stopped snowing. A bit of running around to do, but I won't be out long, too chilly! Not a lot of energy today anyway. Must drop in to the surgery on my travels. Then it's home to make some phone calls. After that as little as possible.

G'day mate. I thought so too. :o} I'm keeping as well as can mate ta. Looking forward to spring and summer, I've had enough of winter, although it's been a relatively mild one, except for some snow the last few days.

Downsideupland in my neck of the woods is a tad tropical.
Loving the rain, lawn beats dust anytime of the year and some plants in garden beds have come back to life, woohoo!!
But, humidity is something I struggle with.
Yeah, I know, Get over it yah winging ozzy.

I can understand all that mate. Humidity can be a real pain.
We had snow here yesterday, but it didn't settle I'm happy to say.

I love snow, don't get it where I live, but if snow melts quickly, slush appears.

Don't like slush!!

Unless it's in some sort of fancy fruity cocktail ;-/

you are still under a snow and snow/ice warning, Boaty, though the precipitation chance is low as in 10%. Here its up to 90% on dropping back after 2pm.

another heavy frost and a tad more snow...had a busy day clearing paths..walked down to newsagents as car was not wanting to climb the incline from the drive...collected papers for the whole street well..half dozen homes that usually get delivered plus mine and wee man that I told to stay in after doing his path....he and his wife are both 90 + and he still drives..got him milk too... on walk down the hill I spied a wee wummin waving through her window..so went and banged on her door to check she was ok..turns out her home help had not arrived and she couldn't open her pill bottles...bad arthritis in hands..so bottles open, cup of tea made....checked back on way home and she had had a call from son who was coming round to see to her... newsagent asked if I would deliver the aforementioned papers as the boy had not turned in....phew...extra points for the pearly gates !

Morning all, up early for a first grocery delivery slot, it's a case of grab anything slot that's available. Very icy here where the slush froze overnight but no more expected today. Tomorrow could be a different matter.
