Stupid though, isn’t it. I mean it can’t hurt you so why wouldn’t we? I would dearly love to like spiders - but I don’t. Not one bit!!

No problems with spiders, unless funnel web or trap door, crawling over me but snakes........ that's another story.

Yes, I’ve often tried to analyse why we generally don’t like them. I think it’s the movement, maybe. My tarantula experience was quite cathartic tho and I had a strange affection for the creature once I’d done it.

Now you see, snakes I don’t have any problem with. They’re silky smooth and warm to touch.

I don’t have a problem with snakes either - ab I’ll get stinging insects in a glass and remove them from the house - but spiders I cannot do. Suck ‘em up the hoover is my best effort. That’s the closest I can get.
