Friday. Well the sky looks clear at the moment. We had some what has become inevitable rain yesterday afternoon. No doubt we shall see some today.

I had a natter with LJ yesterday. She is getting better, but still has a way to go. She sends her love to all the usual suspects.

Tiggy had a good run around last night, but didn't go out of the garden.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning WB. It's Saturday today unless you have over indulged in the cooking sherry, then who cares?
Just got back from Norfolk, the M25 was sheer nightmare, crawled for ages and ages. Coach trip for four days, my botty's a bit tender, those seats are not the comfiest.
Question Author
Morning David. You spotted the deliberate mistake! :-/

I remember when I used the M25 regularly, going east. Always got there just as Concorde was coming in. Always a majestic sight. We were always at a standstill so had time to watch it.

I know what you mean about coaches. Where was/is your trip to?
Sandringham house was one day out, very nice, weather was kind.
Question Author
Good weather makes all the differences does it not. I've never been to Sandringham House. If it's anything like Osbourne House it's magnificent.
Morning Gents, just popped in to have a nosey before I start 2 days of tax return filing!!

Hey Minty, today has been an absolute bonza, weather was nice, dinner is prepped. Eldest son is home for a couple of weeks, youngest is due to arrive, with a basket of washing ;-( and will see middle son tomorrow at Bathurst, a few hours drive away.
Morning Mintyxx, Morning Oz - I was stationed in Norfolk and I hated it, but that was back in 1977/78!! Going back in late August to take my sister to Yarmouth for her hols and having a couple of days there to do a little sightseeing, including my old base.
Bathurst, Oz? Isn't there a famous race held there?
Oh, and had an hour long chat with daughter dear today, well, spoke for ten and listened for 50!
Question Author
No wonder you're flying oz! A family get together. Grand! :o}

Is your old base still there welshie?
LOL Oz, sounds hectic
Certainly is Welshy, Bathurst 1000, also lots of other races, cars, bikes and once a year it turns into "Newtons Playground" for the gravity games, well worth attending.
