"I can take the loss, it's just the manner of it that's so disappointing."

Yes, I think that's fair. I was worried that Murray would struggle to get past Dimitrov but I'd expected it to be at least 4 tight sets, rather than a bad start, a brighter middle patch followed by a tame end. It's odd. Towards the end it's not even clear that Dimitrov had to do much.

Djokvic two sets to one down as well... wow! People have been speaking of 2014 as the last year of the "Big Four"... If Cilic pulls this off it will be amazing!

And Federer just started his match and is already 4-1 down. When was the last time none of the Big Four made it to the semi-finals of a Slam?
He didn't play well at all today :-) we're watching the Jokovitch match at the mo - that too could yield some surprises.....

And Federer is also struggling....think I'll go eat worms !
Whilst I don't doubt your credentials minty, he needs someone Lendl-esque, a coach with the mindset of a cold hearted killer, he seemed to have a more steely edged determination about him when under his tutelage.
In answer to my own question... French Open, 2004, when only Federer was playing anyway. Since then the Big Four collectively have lost only 3 out of 42 Grand Slams, and made 41 out of 42 finals and always at least one made the semi-final.
Who faces the boy wonder Kyrgios next?
Raonic. I think Raonic will win that one, if only because it's usually hard to beat Nadal and then win the day after.
Thanks jim, I still wouldn't bet against him.
Real Aussie grit and nonchalance in equal abundance, I fancy him to make the final.
Gutted, but hey, tomorrow's another day.
Djokovic looks like he'll take things to a fifth set, and Federer loses the first 6-3 to Wawrinka.

I think all the big boys went for a curry and clubbin' it last night !
And the wait goes on....... No British Wimbledon Champion sines 2013
Whilst Fed has looked at his balletic, majestic best thus far in the tournament it's gonna be a big ask against Stan.
As I type, Stan is 0-30.....
Shocking state of British tennis, eh, paul?

Djokovic breaks Cilic at the start of the fifth set... looks like the Big Four will maintain their record after all.

Come on Federer!
So come on Rog....any result on the Aussie QF yet?
Is that Becker I just saw in Djokovic's section in the crowd? Is he part of his team now?
Yes.
Thanks Sip.
