Double fault to go a break down. Can't see a way back now for Murray, he's just not playing well enough.

A double fault allows Dimitrov to break Murray's serve to go 4-2 up in the 3rd. As American sports commentators say, it will take all of Murray's intestinal fortitude to turn this one around.

Game over. Ouch. In the last game Murray seemed to have no fight. Double-fault to concede two match points, saved first with an ace but another errant forehand to give the match away.

To be fair to Murray, Lendl left rather than being sacked. Not really much he could do about that. And as for Mauresmo as ? Well, seems harsh to pin it on her one way (or on Murray specifically for picking her) so soon into their time together. But we'll see if that's true if they part ways after this tournament.

The next few months are key for Andy, since he has very little to defend in terms of ranking points, so he might make something of this season yet, but so far 2014 has been a year to forget.
