Have their accreditation to play international football taken away from them?

That was frankly embarrassing for the game. I'm all for the underdog in sports but when it's 1 win in over 100 games surely someone needs to have a word.

It happens in cricket i.e. when a country is deemed unable to compete at a respectable level they have their Test match status taken from them by the ICC.
Isn't it time for FIFA to do the same?

Agree, an absolute embarassment, still probably the only game England will win.
it would be one way to put Scotland out of its misery
penelope2 ....Can I assume you know flump all about football?
some footballers know flump all about football, they're good at diving.

Given England's propensity for the odd implosion I'd say penelope2 is in with a good shout!
It's certainly not beyond the realms of possibility.
Mick-Talbot.... why????
Should San Marino..

No but they should along with some others nations ( eg Scotland) play in pre qualifiers
I'm fantasising, I know, but I'd love to see Germany giving England a doing at cricket :-)

To be fair, Scotland do have some footballing pedigree and many Scots have graced the world of football in the Football League etc.

I'm struggling to recall a San Marino player of the calibre of Dalglish, Gemmel, Souness, St. John, Strachan et al.
Mick-Talbot.... I ask again 'why' ????? In response to your comment 'Can I assume you know flump all about football'
It was a Scot from Busby who introduced football to Brazil.

You seriously can not see what is wrong with that statement?

Hi ChillDoubt, 'The lady hath been scorned etc' No mate, no lady and why no response from Mick-Talbot. 'Money where your mouth is' M-T.
I'm more wide awake than Timmy Mallet
probably the only game England will win - so the others that we've won in this qualifying group or the win against Brazil don't count?
Ok then, how about 'hopefully' the only game England will win :-)
^from now :-)
Bring on Montenegro.
Is that it?
