My sons teacher was a youth cricket coach at Old Trafford. He reckons that Phil Neville was one of the best batsmen he'd ever seen. He reckoned Neville would have captained England at cricket had he chosen that sport instead of football.

I'm a woman & know nothing about football! However, i did know Arthur Milton & knew that he had played both cricket & football at a top level. I well remember him as a Gloucestershire cricketer.

I think Joe Hart played cricket at a fairly good level - maybe he played for a minor county such as Shropshire
