Good Luck England

Just wishing the team all the best on day one of the First Test at Lords today and in particular young Jonny Bairstow, a very exciting prospect.
I'm sure his father would have been very proud.

Looks like the weather too will be playing its part though!

Boycs reminiscing about being got out by 'tiddlers', it obviously irked him when playing!

Aggers winding him up about his speech this morning and saying he wished he had been within earshot.
Boycs said he wouldn't, he would have told them how bad Aggers bowling was!
Lunch and it's even stevens. i would have selected finn over bresnan.

Lunch, day one, Windies 83-2. Honours even, Barrath in good nick.

Had my afternoon all planned, was going to watch IPL with the sound down and listen to TMS but my leg is stinging like b*ggery, I have to go to the GP's to get my sick note and I need some supplies, they're dwindling!
Keep me abreast of events while I'm away please guys.
Barath c Anderson b Broad 42

Keystone Cops run out - 100-4

Shiv stands still, Bravo stranded - bye-bye Bravo

Day Two at Lords and England are making a huge dent in the Windies 243 all out with a measured 164-1.
Sounds like there is a fair bit of 'buffet bowling' and the England batsmen are filling their boots.
450-500 on the cards?
The days of Ambrose,Walsh,Marshall,Garner et al seem a long long time ago. Caught a bit of TMS earlier, geoffrey said 'mother would be hogging the strike against this lot and even blowers would get fifty!'
Question Author
Fair play to the Windies, who were expected to crumble. Making a decent fist of it at 268-8. England should chase down whatever total they make but a slight wobble on the final day and who knows, we've been there before!
Question Author
Great comeback by the tourists who have set England 191 to win.
Well done too to Stuart Broad, 11 wickets in the match.
England finish the day on 10 for 2 and the wobble is definitely on.
Early wicket or two first up tomorrow and it's all to play for.
