Why does he feel full of bravado every time he lands on home soil? Not so long ago he was gobbing off about never returning to Manchester etc, then he's crawling back cap in hand when no other club is prepared to take him on.

Why does he have to fly in the face of the club's stance on the issue and just let it lie? City should cut their losses and give him away on a free, they don't even need him.
