They should employ a disabled, Black, vegetarian, Muslim, dwarf lesbian to keep everybody happy.
At least the press wouldn't be able to pick on her.
well it didn't take the press long! They're already having a go at Pearce because his brother once stood for leader of the BNP!
I think they've got files on everybody to stir it up..If they haven't they make it up!
I despise the way that the press manipulate the public. They try to dictate the mood of the country. When things are going great they will be behind the manager as soon as something goes even slightly wrong they light the touchpaper.
Even post Leveson the press will still make the post of England manager the hardest, highest profile job in the world as I said on page 1 of this thread.
If I remember correctly the behaviour of the press was the main reason Scolari refused the job.

Harry can well do without any form of intrusion at this present moment in time and I reckon he'll decline the job. Who wants that circus at his age? It's not as if he's even got the worlds best players at his disposal!
Alan Pardew is the latest to say he isn't interested at the moment because he has a young family and is concerned about how they'd be able to handle the aggro that goes with the job...Says it all.
I stopped buying the papers years ago, they are like playground bullies.
The only person able to handle a combination of the aggro, press, FA and players would be Fergie and we all know that ain't gonna happen!
How about Alan Carr ?? His father did once manage Northampton Town.
If I was Harry Redknapp or any other top class manager, I wouldn't even consider the job.
They are all on good salary's anyway!

Why have all the hassle with the media camping outside your house if you lost a game when you have a few million in the bank to look after your family
And not to mention what your kids might go through at school or Uni, not worth it IMO!
Given that Capello was allegedly paid about £6M per year how much will the next incumbent get?
Redknapp has said that he thinks he will be able to manage the "Euros" so long as they are "unmarked and untraceable!!"
I take it the FA will be bound by our majority decision !
Steve McLaren
Harry Redknapp
Let us hope for an Englishman this time as we have not won anything since 1966
B
Harry Redknap

D Roy Hodgson
