We Were Good Last Night

Well, I thought we were pretty good last night.
We made Liverpool work for it.
At the last minute, I went out and watched it in the pub, which was jolly.

You have a decent Squad of Players and Gus Poyet is a good Manager and has them playing good Football.
You have a nice Stadium as well and with a bit of luck you have every chance of Promotion to the Premier League next Season.
Al the best JJ!

Liverpool won 2-1, alba.
Oh, Hopkirk ... the ground is stunning.
High tech base under the pitch to reduce wear on the players' legs.
Lighting system which lights up the inside of the visitors' end in the club colours of the visiting team.
Massive picture zones, which display photos of famous players from whichever team is visiting.
No "bad" seats.
It's lovely.
So far, I've only been there to look around, but I'm going to the Leeds match tomorrow. We're all going to wear green to show support for Plymouth Argyle. It's going to be on the telly.

LOL, Hopkirk
No, but look, I'm not a huge football fan, but a pal and I used to go to The Sportsman, have a couple of bottles of wine and some lunch, have a chat with the visiting fans, go and watch the game, and then get the bus (free with a match ticket) back into town, and find a bar. It was a nice little routine, and the crowds were so small that we could shout above the noise. Now, it's all become a bit serious.

If you come in from the A23, when you get to the Rabbit Roundabout, go left towards Lewes, over the funny little bridge, and then right. Keep driving, and the stadium suddenly appears up on the right, facing down on to the road. It's quite impressive. If you take the sliproad off to the left, and cross the road, you can go for a look around. It's worth it.
