Changing Door Lock...

I decided to change the door lock on my uPVC conservatory door from an ERA to a Yale (Euro profile cylinder). Trouble is I can't manage to remove the ERA cylinder.
I saw what looked like a retaining screw, just below the lock cylinder, on the door edge, bat it was way to short (approx 1/4 inch) and didn't appear to have sheared off, below that was a hole without a screw in it.
I tried turning the key every which way to remove the cylinder but to no avail.

Can anyone put me right here ?

Thank's Chip

It should be as easy as Ratt's link suggests. It sounds as though you have removed one of the screws holding the lock casing rather than the one that holds the barrel.
There is a domed screw in the door edge just below keyhole level.
Remove the screw, turn the key about 20 -30 degrees to slide lock out.
