Reported in the tabloids today that Arsene Wenger the manager of Arsenal football club has had a mistress for 2 years.
What is it with some men, loyalty, devotion. love, are these meaningless words in our modern society?
I believe having a mistress is a rarity,only for the weak willed, but my question to you fellow ABers is, is it more common than we believe and is it spreading, likely to epidemic proportions?

Having a mistress is something to which only a few men can truly aspire.

Having a furtive 'bit on the side' is much more a likely scenario.

Zeuhl.....;-).....one can easily spend 25 grand a year on a "bit on the side".....that amount of money is no big deal.

it's the difference though.

If you can easily spend £25K on a bit-on-the-side than your mistress is bound to cost you £50 - 100K

What are the actual figures in your experience?
