Hi Bernie. Been busy at work lately. But had to pop in this morning. Quite sad news really cos he was doing such a great job! Whoever takes over now has got a massive job to rebuild that squad. 2 or 3 years to get back in the Champions League.
I bet your loving this Dave

Come on Hull ;-))
I don't understand why they have sacked him at this stage of the season, may as well have left it until after the last match imo. I hope Paul Lambert is available !.

As manager or as a player......;-)
I blame the fans - after all Manure had the best away record in the Premier League.
He's younger than some of the players I think, sqad ;-)
Agreed Dave dont know who's gonna be the next manager tho!
tony...LOL....and he was a mid field player, just where Man U are deficient.
He fits the bill then, sqad.
He didn't stand a chance!

I thought it was a wind up when I heard the news this morning, It was always on the cards because honestly United have not being a joy to watch this season, they've had their moments but not playing as a United Team.
if city miss out on the premiership title i think there may be two manchester managers looking for jobs
^ lol.
Ironic twist - Moyes' final game for United was against Everton.

Funny ol' game.

I'd like to name Bruce Forsyth as the next Manager now he's retired from Strictly Come Dancing...
On the Training ground each day you would hear, 'Nice to see you, to see you,you useless #*@+....
and from....
Play your Cards right, you would get.....Higher, Higher, Lower, Lower for a place in the League each week
The good old days are back again ! :-)
As I said in my post early on in this thread, the decision to get rid of Mike Phelan et al upon appointment was a rather silly one and one that he must have come to rue.
This is all so very funny. Watch the glory hunters deserting in droves as ManUre struggle to get back into the thick of things.

Apparently he's been offered a job at UKIP - they need someone to lead them out of Europe.
Meanwhile, Ryan Giggs has said he will not be taking on the job on a permanent basis as he wants to spend more time with his brother's family.
bibblebub - apparently Moyes will not be getting £38m. His severance pay is £4.5m (one year's salary) as he failed to get United into the top four.
>>>I don't understand why they have sacked him at this stage of the season,

Because last weekend their last faint lingering hope of getting in the Champions league had gone.

So now they really had nothing to play for.

And with the World Cup coming up they have a chance to get a new manager AND maybe sign some players in the transfer window.

Last season Moyes did not start till July 1st and by then they had little chance to locate and buy players in the transfer window.
