The Telegraph are also saying that it could happen before the weekend, and if a reporter such as Henry Winter reckons so https://twitter.com/henrywinter then it looks very likely.
Although quite likely it still looks like newspaper speculation at the moment.
But he's not been sacked - yet.
First of all, Rooney is wasting his time at Man Utd.

Secondly, if Man U do not go for a young foreign manager, then they may well hang on to Moyes.

Have i got someone in mind?.......Certainly have......Ernesto Valverdi.

Watch that name...at the moment managing Athletico Bilbao.

Sqad..
Ernesto Valverdi sounds more like a Chef from 'Ready, Steady, Cook'....! :-)))
sqad, what do you think of Unai Emery of Seville?
red...LOL....watch him....You first heard it on AB.

Don't worry Man U will go for another "safe pair of hands."
piggy....don't you mean Valencia?

Not much of a player but is certainly another talented Spanish manager.
They need someone with feet that can fill big boots rather than safe hands. Perhaps Alex will do a comeback....
It's a shame, I liked seeing his increasingly stressed expression each week.
If David Moyes is sacked by Manchester United, then he should become the new leader of UKIP.

They have no interest in Europe either.
sqad, he did manage valencia a while ago, but is now coaching seville(the in form team at present, deservedly beat r.madrid 2.1 couple of weeks ago)
piggy.....sorry Sevilla....you are correct.
most great managers weren´t great players, eg sir alex, jose mourino
one more point, both these spanish managers emery & valverdi, have had to work with depleted squads, and with money, so take your pick.
It was bound to be a transitional period, but failing to qualify for the Champions League is what has earned him the sack. Failing to win a trophy in your first season in charge is understandable, but the loss of revenue from no CL is what has prompted the fat Yanks to act.
piggy...exactly.
if I believe the reporters on Talksport, then Mr Ferguson didn't win a thing in his first year of taking over Man U.
I think the supporters and possibly the owners have become a tad greedy in expecting everything to go their way.
