I don't know zhukov, but i wish they would sack ours, anyhow how ya doin.
Yes, just seen it on Sky. Who will want the job now? M. McCarthy maybe!
I meant ESPN
He has parted company.....'with immediate effect'.....!
Question Author
we"ll have AVB at the Villa,ok,you well tony?
yes - it's on sky now
Yea we could do a straight swop, not to bad thanks.
He lost the old guard early on and the others seemed to follow suit.

Abramovich has the money but is clueless about football. He should let the next manager actually manage rather than deciding what players HE wants in his team e.g. Torres!
yes he has and about time too
Just seen some odds quoted on BBC. Apparently Rafa Benitez is favourite for the hot seat with 'The Special One' next.
He should have been given time and money to build his own team... but it appears the senior players have had an impact again
I wonder how long it take RA to realise he can't buy the Champions' League. He doesn't seem able to buy the Premiership any more.
I know Liverpool fans would disagree but I think Benitez is a terrible manager.
It took him only parts of a season to destroy the treble winning Inter Milan team.

Abramovich wants him due to his Champions league form and because he might actually be able to get Torres to score a goal. As I say clueless!
Ah yes, the Newcastle United school of owner management! And didn't Real Madrid have a long phase of the same attitude; look who they ended up with, presumably because Mourinho likes a challenge ! No patience, always looking for the quick fix, listening to everyone but the manager, is the Abramovich way.
AVB could perhaps be criticized for not making a silk purse out of a sow's ear;getting the players he was lumbered with playing better, but that's all. (And I'm a Chelsea season ticket holder, so complain more than most )
PS Is Avram Grant available ? He's a great manager if he has an assistant standing next to him in the technical area, so he knows what to do.
I doubt they would get Mourinho back and certainly not till he has won the Spanish league this season. I don't think RA will wait to next season to appoint the new guy.
As a separate question, does anyone think being fired after such a short time seriously damages a manager's reputation?
you'd think it would damage the reputation of the people doing the hiring, but it seldom seems to.
Fredpuli avram is the manager of partizan belgrade
I think Mourinho will go back next season as Di Matteo has been put in charge until the end of this season
I would love it if Jose went back there for two reasons
I dont want him as Sir Alex replacement and also how long will it be before the Russian starts wanting to pick the team again

Mind you I would love it even more if the fat waiter got the job
