Not sure if this is the right section of answerbank but I watched this really captivating show on Netflix today called “Bob Lazar – Area 51 and The Flying Saucers”.
Would defo recommend if you are into alien conspiracy stuff. I’ve heard an interview with Bob Lazar before on the Joe Rogan podcast and was fascinated by the dude.
I’ll give a brief background. Bob was a physicist who claims to have worked on alien tech at Area 51 during the 80’s. He was a whisleblower and has basically had his life ruined since going public – so has almost everyone associated with him. During the documentary the FBI show up at his home and start going through his stuff. I found some of his claims compelling, although his whole past including education records have been deleted.
Does anyone have any thoughts about Area 51 or governments concealing information about alien contact?

Theland, Oh, so it was an ‘amusing’ video. Without any indication from you, who’d a guessed? Yes, it is your right to post video after video without a word of explanation – but it’s my right to consider your penchant for expecting others to waste chunks of their time on trying to ascertain your thoughts discourteous.

It ought to be the case but unfortunately in some instances it isn’t. People, be they of science or otherwise, who instantly dismiss ideas that fall outside their own world view – even though they can’t guarantee their dismissal is justified - are in my opinion detrimental to education and to progress.

No one learns without asking questions – and if the questions aren’t answered, we must continue to ask – no matter how long that may take.

It seems to me that there is enough sightings of unidentified aerial phenomenon in area 51 and other places around the world to suggest that there is much more going on than most of us can even imagine.

Area 51 is only a USAF Base ! But it is where the latest and so 'secret' aircraft are test flown . Its real name is Grant Field USAF !! It also has captured and aquired ! Russian and Chinese aircraft ! It was chosen for the role because it is so remote ! More than 60 miles from the nearest public road !! It has one of the longest runways in the World , more than 6 miles long ! It was originally the idea that Hypersonic 'Space Planes' would operate from there ! But The Apollo programe saw the end of that !
I used to share a house with a US Pilot who had flown out of Area 51, he had flown captured Russian and Chinese aircraft as well as USAF ones ! He told me that some Chinese aircraft were so good , that they could 'outfly' anything the USA Had !!
