It matters little what the other EU countries have discussed so far, and want to get. Either they eventually agree a fair deal, and the noises from them so far suggest they wouldn't know "fair" if it kicked them up the rear, or they lose out by failing to agree to good mutual trade agreements with the UK, for the future. One can only hope they aren't so daft as to want to cut off their nose in order to spite their face. A lose/lose situation is not in anyone's interest, but at the same time won't devastate anyone either.
