What do you think, satan is not real,he is just symbolic.

Or satan exists, but he has little interest in mankind.

Or satan is a powerful spirit creature who exerts great influence on mankind.

Because each has its supporters.

No, it's because you write like a computer is taking random bits of sentences and just garbling them together.

Do not accuse me of ignorance when you are too much of a coward to confront the way your beloved god is *actually* presented in the bible.
Kromo... I don't want to appear to be having a go at you personally , but I recently responded to one of your questions in which you are critical of people who are "attached" to their holy books , and here you are "attached" to the same holy book as you try to prove that God has killed more people than Satan .
Anyway , the people who God killed , did you consider the evil that they were practising and the number of people that they were killing ?.... Also did you consider the number of people who Satan has killed by stealth , deceit and setting people against each other ?...
Dieseldick , thank you for those links , they were very interesting and they led me to another link ( from the youtube menu of similar videos ) from someone who was a Satanist "insider" .
Goodlife , thank you for this question and and I think you ( as well as Kromo... and Dieseldick ) will be very interested in this video . For those of you who think this guy is lying , he speaks for over 2 hrs unscripted ( have you ever tried speaking for 5 mins.... a Church reading takes maybe 3 mins and it's scripted ) . Anyway , here's the link , I know it's a long video but only the "diehards" will have followed the question through this far so here goes...

All the best everyone...
of course he does Miroslav Satan.....Brilliant Ice Hockey player

Is that pride?

I know you'll say it is not, so can you help me out? I am still confused as to why greed and envy are both on the list. Surely they are one and the same thing?

How are they the same ? One could be so greedy as to eat all the cakes at the party, and still not envy anyone.
At 3 in the morning with a couple of bottles of wine under my belt, my thoughts may not be as clear as they would be in the morning. But I'll try. To my mind greed is an expression of hunger. You grab the last salmon and cucumber sandwich as the duchess, your host, reaches for it: thats greed.
You see an open top sports car parked in the street and you key it: thats envy.
My impeccable life isn't a matter of pride. It's a simple statement of fact.
Ah but eating all the cakes would be gluttony, see? Triple redundancy there.

Remember God is supposed to have written these, on stone. (insert obvious punchline here).
It's probably an opinion caused by a couple of bottles of wine :-D
Only gluttony also because the greed example happened to be food related.
You casuists want to trip me up when I'm not able for you.
Sandy,

when you wrote 'bottles', did you mean 'glasses'. Two bottles, of an evening, is going some.

This article says % abv equates to units per litre and it's 21 units permweek for men…

This isn't about point-scoring, I hasten to add. I disagree with your views but I wish you good health.

G'Night all

//You grab the last salmon and cucumber sandwich as the duchess, your host, reaches for it: thats greed. //

That would never happen in my world. I would take the plate, proffer it to the duchess and say, "Your Grace, would you care to partake of this last sandwich? I am afraid I am replete with Your Graces' hospitality."
benhilton //Also did you consider the number of people who Satan has killed by stealth , deceit and setting people against each other ?...//

Satan killed the ten listed with God’s permission – and besides, Satan has an excuse for being nasty – he’s nasty - allegedly. What is a just and beneficent God’s excuse?
I'm unsure a God would need to excuse their decisions, but I suspect were they to do so it would be along the lines of you misinterpreting their justice and beneficence as acts of nastiness.
OG, I’m not sure slaughtering thousands of people, including women and children, indiscriminately needs much interpretation.
Ah but you don't see the bigger picture, what the world would have been like if those thousands were not called back to God immediately. God works in mysterious ways. There are wonders to perform.
Ah, that'll be it then. ;o)
It's a bit like recalling cars after faults are found, commendable but poor publicity for the manufacturer.
"I recently responded to one of your questions in which you are critical of people who are "attached" to their holy books , and here you are "attached" to the same holy book as you try to prove that God has killed more people than Satan . "

So first goodlife accuses me of ignorance, and now this. I suppose that's one way of trying to spin "knowing the actual contents of the book, having read it and researched it." If you had read my thread properly (or watched the content I linked to), you would know that it was addressing people who claim the Bible is a source of morality and virtue. To have such an opinion, it's pretty much obligatory to be ignorant about the true content of the Bible.

For instance, had you bothered to read the Bible, you would know that God murders people for asking questions (or just grumbling about how hard it is being in the desert), that he slowly and brutally murders a newborn baby (it takes a week) for the crime of being born, and sicks a gang of bears upon some children he doesn't like very much. How despicably evil.

As for your laughable video - I hate to break it to you, but speaking for a long time does not mean you are right, and neither does being unscripted. And yes, I have tried speaking (unscripted) for 5 minutes or more. It is eminently possible.
Hypognosis, it was bottles. Drinking is the one activity where moderation seems pointless.
