Personally, I think the answer is most do not believe.

Without anyone admitting in this thread whether they believe or not, my curiosity could be answered by an official poll being conducted by AB's Ed.

Should therefore I put forward the matter in the 'Suggestions' category.

I'm not a believer, but each to his/her own. My eldest doesn't believe and boy 2 has a lot of questions he wants answered (the others are too young to have any interest either way).

I believe in God, and both my husband and I have actually had prayers answered....they may have just been coincidences, but when you are in a real bind, you pray, and they bind comes undone....what else can you think?

I don't think that a poll would give useful results as most believers probably don't visit this section. Why would they need to if they have faith?

I believe that mankind invented god rather than vice versa. Which god do you mean ron? Thousands of gods and goddesses have been worshipped over millenia by humans. They now been discarded because they are now recognised as ignorant imaginations. The only religion which made some sense was sun-worship (not nudism, lol) 'cos life was created and maintained by the sun. However we now it can't hear prayer or worship.

Yup, I'm an atheist. I know there is no god. How? Same reason as religionists know there is a god. Science and all evidence supports me. However I don't try to sell atheism but you did ask about poll so that's my vote. Think that shows why poll would be useless. We are buried in the depths of time and too ignorant to help each other on this subject. Good luck ron.
