The Epicurean Paradox
Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent.
Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent.
Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil?
Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

It's possible to build faith in anything and everything.
By definition, faith is something that someone believes, but cannot prove - so the endless arguments go round and round because no-one has an answer. The only variation is the strength of conviction, and the lengths to which people will go to defend them.
yes...but its all down to personal choice
God may not agree with your version of evil. Can't demand a diety believes as you do, might get hit by a bolt of lightning like that.
True evil is as pure as true good.
exactly
//its all down to personal choice//
It can't be. To reap the alleged benefits of any religion you need to hit the bullseye - otherwise no reward. They all claim to be right, but if any are indeed right, the rest must be wrong. What a dilemma!
but then it is up to you to decide
But what if your decision is wrong?
how would you know it is wrong...and how can you define it is wrong, thats the point of religion...to have faith.
//thats the point of religion...to have faith// and be permanently delusional.
