Afternoon all. I just wanted to come on and vent some anger/frustration, whatever you want to call it!

I was having such a pleasant day, weather is good, housework was done, and then OH's family descended on us... mother in law, sister in law and partner, and 3 bratty kids. They pretty much took over the house, helped themselves to all sorts (im still finding chocolate bedded into the carpet), and pretty much outstayed their welcome.

Stiff drink coming on... hope youre all having a good day!!

Poor jb - look on the bright side - the weather will still be good tomorrow and they aren't going to turn up on consecutive days. Enjoy a well earned drink

I had a rant at the ex. I think it's his time of the month and he's been pretty rotten all day. I've spent hours in the kitchen preparing a meal for dinner and he couldn't even lift his butt off the sofa to go and get the washing off the line before it started chucking down with rain. I had to leave the cooking unattended while I went and got the washing in.

Actually no jb - maybe even worse than yours! I have had a rotten chest infection, and now feel as though I have broken most of my ribs! However, happy to report that i did manage to string together nearly 3 hours of sleep this morning until the coughing woke me up yet again. Cannot get warm and my best friend is my hot water bottle. However, I have no chox tampled into the carpet so I have something to smile about.(:-))

oh dear, i am sorry, hate being ill when my own coughing keeps me from sleep so you have my sympathy! on a plus side with the chocolate situation, they did bring me an easter egg so it wasnt all bad!

To be honest MR I don't think it would have helped jb one iota if her OH had anoounced them at the front door

They wouldn't get in my house.All my friends and relatives know to ring first, and never turn up unannounced. I don't even answer the door at the mo as the bloody election canvassers are on the prowl.
