There is a guy i like but i am not instantly attractied to him (in a physical way) But he is a laugh and is interested in me. Does it ever work if you are not attracted to him but his personality is great!! Also he is a little shorter than me?? Do guys get embarrassed if their girl is taller? as i prefer to sit down if he is shorter!!
Thanks

Yes.

I wasn't attracted to my BF at all but we were good friends. Started spending more and more time with him and slowly fell in love. Now I find him really attractive because I like (almost) everything about him.
The great difference between women and men - and thank heavens for it because without it our species ould die out! - is a woman's ability to find attraction in a man because of wehat he is like, as opposed to what he looks like.

You may well find attraction grows, but just let it happen naturally, and don't think too much about it. Over-analysis is the death of any relationship.
i've NEVER been instantly attracted to any of my partners, i was too weak to hurt them so i continued to see them. i fell in love with them in time, not for what they looked like but for who they were inside. you should follow your instincts. My last love was shorter than me and as long as i didn't wear high heels it didnt bother me...or anyone else. I'm glad i loved for the person inside. I was left heartbroken by all of them but i wouldn't change a thing. I never judge a book by its cover. Go for it if you think you'll be happy.

Good Luck
My wife admitted she partly went for me because I'm bald and therefore able to father kids. Her first husband had a lovely head of hair but fired blank rounds (us baldies can always produce kiddies....it's all in the testosterone). I've had my plumbing done after two kids and am now a Jaffa (seedless). Lol.
I was going to put -

....works down the chip shop swears he's Elvis.

But he's a liar and it wouldn;t really be pertinent to this thread anyway.
So - yes it can work without instant or initial attraction. In fact, those sort of relationships often turn out to be the strong lasting type. Personality is far far more important than him looking like a Greek God or a Boy Band member. None of the 'loves' in my life have been particularly attractive to me at first sight.

Like andy said - don't over-analyse - just go with the flow leaps, and see what develops. In a few months you'll probably find him irresistable and incredibly attractive... to you... and that's all that matters.

height difference? nah - don't worry.
I think it works for guys as well. I've suddenly become very attracted to women at work (who I was not to on meeting them for the first time). I thought they seemed nice enough when first meeting them but after a while, became very attracted to them.
