Oh blimey flobadob. The origin of it goes back to biblical times.
The nazis considered that the Jews were taking all the work when Germany was at a low ebb, and then they were blamed for all sorts of things. Google it - it's easier, because there's so much history to it.
It's the ultimate tall poppy syndrome. Ever since the Jews declared they were Gods chosen people they have been persecuted, and if it's not against them then it's against blacks, Muslims, red heads, greenies, the list is endless. Hate is a personal emotion. Most people fear what they do not understand and fear can turn to hate quickly if fanned by ignorance and bigotry.
Bigotted dictators hate nothing more than someone else who claims to be superior. Hitler had the Master Race while the Jews havd the Chosen People. Hitler had the Father Land while the Jews have the Promised Land.

And they were both sure they had the answers to everything.

Same thing today with the Moslems Christians and Jews. They all believe in their own version of the one God and hate anyone who disagrees.
1) They see Jews as a foreign 'inferior' race living among 'proper' Europeans.

2) They see Jews as holding influential positions in European and American society.

3) They see Jews as worming their way into European society in order to destroy Western civilzation.

4) Hitler saw the European race, in particular the Germanic race, as the highest stage in human evolution and the Jews at the bottom, under the blacks.

5) In his book 'Mein Kampf', Hitler proposed that the Jews were jealous of the Germanic race and so sought to corrupt German culture.

Antisemitism was already present in Germany before Hitler. Ever since the Middle Ages, Jews left their native land (by now under Muslim rule) seeking asylum and fled to Europe where some Christian countries took them in, notably Germany, Poland and Russia. The Jews didn't quite fit in. They kept their own religion, their culture and language. Some made their way to positions of business power or influence in the media. Prejudice against them existed down through the ages. Hitler used this prejudice to stir up racist hate.

Christians have long blamed them for Christ's death (though Christianity would have been in a right mess if Christ hadn't died). Also, during the Middle Ages, Christians were forbidden to practise usury, the lending of money. Jews therefore took up the trade. But of course demanding a return on the business made them unpopular - as in The Merchant of Venice, for instance. Rulers were constantly refusing to pay their debts to Jews, and expelling them from the territory instead.

Those are both 'rational' enough reasons to dislike Jews, even if they're both wrong. But then you get into the more superstitious sort of reason like those JockSporran has listed.
slight digression, but i have spent many years researching my ex husband's step grandads family and now with the help of my brother-in-law we have traced Ukranian Jewish relatives still living in the area where the familt fled from in 1902. The graveyard that served the Jewish Community in the village for generations was completely destroyed by the Nazis during the second world war. Not one Jewish gravestone remained , they were removed and destroyed and the graves desecrated.
Might also be because we drink the blood of Christian babies.

never done it myself, but that was alo what Jews were supposed to have done.
beso. Correction - Christians do not hate anyone who disagrees with their version of God. Quite the opposite in fact. Christians believe that loving, accepting, and respecting all persons whatever their race, creed, or colour happens to be, is the way to live a moral and upright life.
This would make a good thread in R & S.
There was also a major fear factor involved across Europe which the Nazis were canny enough to address.

Since medieval times most of Europe and the Arab world had anti-Jewish laws. Jews were not permitted to work in professions nor any occupation, except money lending. That was usury - a sin against God (as it still is in Islam). However, states and individuals still needed to borrow money so the Jews were tolerated to fill that role. That was one reason they were hated as many people owed them money and if a pogrom erupted and Jews were killed - then many people suddenly had their debts evaporate!
Most Jews were not permitted to live amongst gentiles and had to live in their own areas (ghettos). They were not allowed into parks or children into schools etc.

During the 19th century European countries abolished their anti-Jewish laws - UK in 1868, Germany in 1871, Spain in 1898. Then you had the rise of Zionism with many Jews claiming their own state to be named Israel. Many militant Jews wanted Israel to be in Europe and they said it was the obligation of a European nation to give them land or a colony in which all non-Jews would have to leave. That terrified Europeans for several decades. Who would lose their homes?

No European governmemt dared address a solution to 'The Jewish Question' until Hitler in 1932. He said he would safeguard the German people by bringing back all the anti-Jew laws that Germany scrapped in 1871. That's why those laws were readopted after 1933 and it culminated in 1942 at the Wansee Conference. Then the decision was taken to adopt 'The Final Solution to the Jewish Question' which was a permanent solution - to exterminate all the world's Jews. No more worries about Israel.
Me again,

What happened after World War II of course was that the UK effectively handed the Palestine over to the Jews (there was talk of France donating Madagascar to become Israel). It was Palestinian families who were given one hour to get out of their homes, off their land and out of their businesses which were then handed over to Jewish families who moved in as the Arabs watched. The Palestinians were then put into refugee camps outside their former homes - and they are still there (Sabra, Chatilla etc). That's the main cause of the trouble in the Holy Land today along with all the other issues dating back to Biblical times.
Erm ..... not quite.
The land acquired by Jews in the former Palestine was bought from Arabs, not taken.
If you look at the map of the 1948 U,N. settlement, it is surprising how little the Jews had - all bought and paid for.
Most of your post is a bit off the mark.
Because minorities should know their place, that they are always humans of a lesser kind in the host nation, they should'nt strive to succeed in business or education, they should'nt decide to build temples to marry in or bury their dead in, they certainly should'nt marry outside of their group (both sides are guilty of that prejudice) and they most certainly should'nt express their individuality in the way they dress, that certainly just won't do.
Kiss mje quick hats are out then?
How's married life 123?
I know nothing about Jews in particular and religion in general.

But I can't understand how you can 'Hate' a person that you don't actually know. How can you know that you hate them?

To hate a whole part of society because of their race, colour, religion etc etc is a sad reflection on that Hater themselves. (Not sure if Hater is a word).

Live and let live.

Theland is quite correct, the problem arose when the State was declared. The land prior to the '48' war, was legally owned by Jews.

As for the Allies giving the Jews land in other Continents, Uganda was also mentioned, somehow, i don't really think it would have worked.
Actually, it couldn't have worked.
Rather problematic Theland, long story but not a problem based on ethnicity.
Question Author
Well I would like for a few neo nazis to answer this question because you always hear about them guys hating jews etc. but I assume they don't know any of the history as portrayed on this thread(perhaps I'm not giving them enough credit), be it accurate or not. I wonder why people like that proclaim a hatred for jews?
they are stealers
eighthwonder, I wonder if you would elaborate on that?.
