I empty Mr O's pockets before I put his clothes in the washine machine. The money has just paid for this years TV licence!!

Mr LL found about �50 worth of pesetas many years ago in a the pocket of a a jacket he hadn't worn for a few years. (worth much more now).

And we then remembered the Spanish holiday when we had run very low of funds and had to scrape by for the last few days!!

A few years ago I lost a purse with about �18 in it and was convinced I lost it whilst out shopping. About six months or so later I found it well down the side of the sofa. Also had a few books of postage stamps in it. That taught me to:

a) clear out the sofa and chairs more often, and b) not to automatically think someone pinches something I lose.

Yes, but this was all a long time ago when pesetas were still the spanish currency. We changed the pesetas for pounds. �50 was worth a lot of money to us back then!!
