Good Morning Early Birds!

Tuesday. Another sunny day on it's way. It can keep this up for as long as it likes!

I think I might go to the Museum Park today, see what's new. Err, museum. New, Hmmm, Well, you know what I mean. I haven't been for a while.

At Monday Club last night we had a fellow doing George Formby songs. He was very good. If you closed your eyes you would think it was the man himself, complete with ukulele. He gave us a potted history of George. A most enjoyable evening.

How are you and mum this morning?

took mum home last night she had a nice few days here , we went out every day since the weather has been tropical so today it is domestics ,in and outdoors...it was nice to see her laugh again..but tears on going home..will give her a couple of days and go up Thursday to do her garden and lunch...sunburn still a point of merriment...

Good progress minty. The tears are to be expected, they are just because you are doing such a grand job, she want's to stay with you. :o}

good news is I have shamed my younger brother into action..sent him another stroppy mail..berating his 6 hours a month with mum etc etc....rubbed it in that she is with me at least 4/5 days per week ..going out ..away etc and all he can do blah blah .....anyway he is collecting her Friday and taking her to Dumfries for the weekend..so it will give me a bit of a break and time to get on chez moi !

one day boaty I will be able to get away ..but whilst I have mum to consider 'fraid my priorities lie with her

I know. :o} You have your priorities right. Mum would be in dire straights without you to care for her and love her as you do.

took roses to cemetery on way home and planted ladybird poppies and anemone bulbs so will look very colourful soon...been thinking about their upcoming diamond wedding anniversary which would have been sept 29th,and will find out about a bench with a memorial plaque somewhere in their village..perhaps at the bowling club where dad was president for a while...

What a wonderful idea minty. That would please mum no end I'm sure. At the bowling club a good venue. Mum can sit on it when she goes there. You might even be able to get her to unveil it.

thick haar here at the moment..precursor to another scorcher..will do outdoors stuff before it gets too hot....well that's the plan...

It's warming up nicely here. I reckon the washing will be dry before I go out.

I have some outside bits to do too, well, a bit of weeding.

goodmorning Waterbm - to you murray. These are early days for your mum and yourself and of course your brother - like all men "they" don't know what to do in these uncomfortable days. I had bros like that and they left it all down to me the little baby girl MOI LOL - but I had to get on with it and you will do. xx
