.....lovely journey to Ireland.......and now I'm sitting an a pub garden with friends and family drinking the best Guinness......

Few days here then up to Mayo to catch up with cousins and wander about the places of my childhood....x

Her dads garden goes down to the beach in Shraigh. She said it's been absolutely packed.

The first time I ever got sun burnt was in Donegal....

Today - being hugged vehemently by a neighbour's 7-yr-old daughter and told that I was a lovely person - also dead-heading the bluebells so the garden once more looks kempt.

Just discovered there is a fair here tomorrow with an exhibition of quilts made by ladies from Westport to commemorate women killed in the 1916 uprising..... and even better.....there is a prize for the dog with the best fancy dress... I love fancy dress so I am off for a wander to find a dog to ....borrow.....for the day........:-)

Chris....I love you.....there is a wool shop across the road....I have my needles and hooks with me.......now to find the dog!

Tony....whenever we had a wedding...and there were lots.....the guards would go up into the mountains and raid a still so we had a good toast for the wedding.....it's not the same now it's not illegal...... :-(
