i once chatted up lightning from gladiators,it was going well until my dad shouted at me for doing nowt!! she was about 15, me 16!!

where i worked years ago,i had to do a job for a bloke, a BIG bloke,he was absolutly sound with me,a true gent, i later found out he was kendo nakasaki!!......beat that!!

oh oh ......also i have done work for jane rossington (jill in crossroads) who lives not to far away from me!!

My Dad bought Liza Goddard's Dads house when I was a kid, found 2 mugs in the back with Liza and Colin on - from when she was seeing Colin Baker. I've got a mate who's ranked in the snooker top 32 and the Blockheads sax player used to live 3 doors up!

Jerry Hall has a house on the corner of my road, Freddy Mercury used to live just around the corner, and I would see him every sat morning on my way to tuition, a very cheery chap who'd smile and say hello - didn't know who he was at the time though. Yazz (remember the singer) he rfather lived in my building, so would occaisionally see her.

I live near Henley-on-Thames where there are loads of famous people living in and around town. Mostly actors, but not all.

Unfortunately, I have such a bad memory for names that although I know people look vaguely familiar it usually takes me hours before it dawns on me who they are!

I am still wondering whether the gorgeous bloke I met at the laundrette the other day was who I thought he was (seems unlikely somehow!) or just a lookalike!

I live a few mins from Posh & Becks. Nick Kershaw's (eighties singer, songwriter, remember him?) son is a 6th former at the school where I work and also does a bit of part time work with us Science Technicians. Gary Rowett (ex Charlton Athletic footballer) and his wife were friends until they moved back to Derby. Barrington Pheloung (composer of the famous theme from Inspector Morse among others) also visits our music department from time to time. No famous next door neighbours though!
