can anyone tell me if the ryder company lease vehicles to the british army ie tanks lorries etc, thank you. D campbell.

I doubt Ryder have many Challenger II Main Battle Tanks for hire but you never know. I know for sure that wher supply cannot meet demand, the UK armed forces will hire civilian vehicles such as lorries, vans and low loaders - this is by local arrangement (from unit to unit) there is no one supplier of rental vehicles.
