The mispronunciation of 'leverage'. It's surprising how often this word is used on tv and very few people pronounce it properly.

We Brits say it the proper way - an extension of lever.
The Americans say it the same way as Cockney's say leather :D

I don't mind dialects and regional accents. Taggart wouldn't be the same of they all spoke with Received Pronunciation :D
Just the usual "fith" and "sickth" for 5th and 6th.
It's all made up anyway, see 'leveret'. :-)
I saw part of a cookery programme last night where a woman was making her "ultimate chocolate cake". She kept referring to cuckoo powder which I eventually realised was cocoa.
OMG nearly everyone on the TV gets 'accept' wrong, including people who should know better. "I except this award". No you don't, you accept it! Drives me potty.
TV advert for tea. "In Yorkshire where we make it proper." No, you make it properly.

diddly, I don't watch cookery programmes and have never heard 'millefeuille' spoken. I would say 'millyfuel-ay'.

I think the Queen would say cocoa as 'cuckoo' whilst she drinks it in her 'hise'
funny one to pick out of the many barry. Yes I know it should rhyme with Fever not hever but that's the septics for you. Colin, Cecil, oregano.....I could on!
the Americans pronouncing many words, like Oregano, O reg an no.
the Americans saying Math, instead of Maths, its Mathematics so why leave off the s.
