MP

I was wondering whether anyone could tell me the first MP, who worked for the Ministry of Transport, who cycled to work.

Apparently its about 20 years ago.

I have to say that I can't see any of those in office approximately 20 years ago being the sort to cycle to work.
I find it hard to believe that no MP cycled to work until 20 years ago!

Wiki suggests that Ernest Marples rode a different sort of bike!
