I wish to buy a digi box using Nectar points. Is it best to shop at Argos or Sainsbury's? I cannot find any reference on the web as to how many points each require per 1 of a purchase.

I think you need to get your vouchers from sainsburys then you can redeem them where you want. Hopw that helps.

Thanks Sasha - but Sainsbury's don't give out vouchers now. I know that in some circumstances Tesco vouchers are more valuable than just exchanging them in store. So I was wondering if Nectar points are more valuable in some places than others.
Next time you are in Sainburys pick
up the Nectar booklet as you can use
the points for loads of different things.

Thanks both. I will check this out next time I'm in Sainsbury's.
there is also a nectar website that gives you their partner websites and you can buy on-line with some of them, I have looked at this in the past and found that it didn't seem worth using the points as it worked out quite expensive. It is definitely not as good as the Tesco points, I think that you would probably be as well buying the best deal that you can and take the points of your shopping.
You can just use your nectar card to shop in sainsburys - you don't have to wait for reward vouchers like in tesco.

When collecting, you get one point for every 1 in tesco, and two for every 1 in sainsburys. When you come to spend them, you need 100 in tesco to make up 1, but 200 in sainsburys to make up 1, so it works out the same in the end!

Thanks chazza. I know that 500 points at Argos gives 2.50 off your shopping, so Sainsbury's works out the same.
