Where (in London) can I find decent priced Jewelry for infants? I preferably like to purchase from High Street retailers and not online.

Any jewellery is dangerous on an infant, a baby bangle is fine, but necklaces can strangle, or be eaten sames as earings or bracelet! why would you want to put them on an infant, it just looks nasty! sorry, but u see travellers with their kids in jewellery!!
are you calling the kid a gypsy?? lol
no course not, lol x im sure they are all lovely people, but you do see alot of jewellery on travelling families kids.
It just doesnt look right, im 28, with 2 girls, and they had baby bangles for their 1st xmas, but just looking at the danger involved regardless of how i think it looks, its just not worth it! Sorry if i offended anyone by my 1st post, but i bet most people would say that jewellery on babies looks bad, and is dangerous x
totally agree earings on babies is hideous but apart from how it looks safety should always come first
Is it not a bit tacky to put jewellery on a baby? As others have said, it is potentially dangerous too.

Here's the story, I'm going to be a godfather for the first time and I want to buy a Necklace with a crucifix or St. Christopher pendant for the Christening something for the Baby to wear just for the big day and a Keepsake for him to remember his big day.
I know that you are looking for actual jewellers rather than on'line, but there are some lovely things in this shop which might give you some ideas:

I saw a baby with nail varnish on the other day. Wanted to ask the mother wtf she was thinking but I managed to keep it in!
Also Dave, meant to add that what you are suggesting does not sound tacky or dangerous - it is possible to buy a nice tasteful item for a special day and have the baby looking like a chav with a bunch of cheap gold rings.

I thought the cufflinks on that site were lovely - he couldn't exactly wear them on the day, but they would be a nice keepsake which would take him through his adult life.

I am sure that you would find a nice pair in any good jewellers.
Hi dave, that sounds like a lovely idea, nice keepsake for the future for your godson!
It could be worn for pics, but wouldnt recomend any longer as he is bound to try and eat it, coz babies taste everything to get a better feel for it! xx
Hope you find what ur looking for x
