Christmas present with a difference

Hi,

I've already bought my partners main present this year but I'm looking for other little 'unique' ideas for gifts?

I would usually get her a DVD, chocolate and perfume but I feel she's getting bored of these sorts of gifts?

Any suggestions?

Chris

Does she have a favourite wild animal? My husband really really likes penguins, no idea why! and this morning i've ordered an Adopt A Penguin' present. Apparently it comes with a cuddly stuffed toy, a certificate and some info about your chosen animal. I'm hoping he'll appreciate that not only is it a fairly unique gift, but it's also 'doing our bit' too.

Anything from 'Lush' is a great gift for a gal.
they do gift packs, ready made up, so you can spend as much or as little as you like, and they deliver.

How about a vouchers for a day at her beautician? Or even just arrange it if you know she's not at work on a particular day?

Also, someone came up with a cracker (no pun intended) of an idea on here the other day of home-made vouchers, i.e. a voucher where you make dinner, she gets the choice of TV for the night etc. that she can redeem at any time.

Beautician's voucher is a really good idea - as long as she doesn't think you're suggesting she needs a wax or anything. How about shoes...? A girl can never have too many!

My bloke's just bought me a Stylophone for my birthday from Hawkin's Bazaar. Lots of good ideas for non-typical stuff there.

I remember when I was first going out with him, I confessed that I'd never got the Sindy doll I'd always wanted as a girl, so he went out and bought me one for Christmas. I did a similar thing for my mum once. She said she'd never, ever owned a teddy bear - so I got her one. She loves him and he sits on her bed every night.
