Does anyone feel that there is a real difference in price between the major supermarkets. I live between a sainsburys and a morrisons, and like shopping at both, but quite frankly I try to go to Asda as well, because they all seem to have differences in prices on different items

Every major supermarket will have 'loss leaders' - goods that they sell below cost price and advertise heavily to get the shoppers in.

So each supermarket will have different 'bargains' every week.

I would like to see them sell bread, milk and sugar as loss leaders. It hardly ever happens though.

I live between a Tesco and Sainsbury's and they are only a mile away from me each way. The nearest Asda to me is around 5-6 miles. Is it better to save petrol money going to Tesco or Sainbury's or the other way round?
One mile Tigger? Not much petrol then, but Tescos is cheaper and has a better reward card system.

How about walking it?
You could get one of those two wheel shopping trolleys, with a vinyl top and a black watch tarten front.
That would look great Panic, however I usually buy 8 bag loads of shopping with loads of tins and bottles. I do a big shop every 3-4 weeks and get fresh stuff during lunch times during lunch times when I'm at work.

I have just ordered a load of stuff online from tescos, but I WILL NOT get my fruit from them delivered, because it goes off within a day and sometimes its already off when they deliver it, especially anything value range. I find that if I'm gonna go to Morrisons, I go with my friend, cos then we share the bogof deals. We still don't seem to be able to get the cost of our shopping down because we both have 3 kids, and the price of the bread, milk, pasta and other staples has rocketed so badly. In winter I can make soup, which all my boys love, but its just too hot for cheap good comfort food now
Loads of bottles Tigs?
