morning people...so far so good - the weather that is, I won't talk about me....maybe if I ignore my body it'll go away. I know what the problem is, someone stuck my face on the first knife holder that Kit posted (lol) 'cos that's how I feel. Oops sorry, shuttup ninia...

1.99 for 2 sounds like my kinda price Vin... I can remember when Moses' dog was a pup, & we had easter eggs, the boxes were interesting. I had one that had the egg at the bottom & the top was like a cage & inside was a nest with small eggs in it...and another one had one of those cellophane pics up the side with lots of lines across it & when you slid the inside up & down the picture moved. Funny the things that stick in your mind...shame it's nowt useful :o)

I don't seem to be able to find the kettle in this scullery, I think all they drink here is gin...and why are all these post-its written in German? tut
afternoon all. Both of us still dripping (urghhh) but Mr woofgang has it worst (of course)
Okat vinny, no more puzzles (for a while hee hee)
got to take the dogs out, the sun is out and its looking good here
catch you later
Oh dear oh dear, he only read the first, concerned email from the little old biddy and not the second, grumpy one from the torturing Nordic pygmy love queen... Basically the message was I'm so very happy to count you amongst the living, Vinny - so that I may personally kill you for the wording in your autoreply! (The date, man, the date.) But how lovely was that heron and fish clip... I'll let him live, shall I?

I'm off downtown to pick up some tickets for the theatre; we aren't going till the end of April but there were hardly any tickets left at all when I made the reservations online the other day.

ROFL at Robinia's Jude trying too hard (the giant teabag.)

Bye for now, my expedion awaits me and there's somebody dripping in here... just above me...
Morning everyone. Hope you are all ok today.
Woofy thanks a bunch for the block puzzle. Nothing gets done here. Me and my sister are stuck on Stage 11.Sooo addictive.
Vinny Did you get my picture by email that I took at Sainsburys. I've forgotten how to put photos on here.

How come everyone ..but everyone ..is on stage 11 and I am stuck on stage 3 ? I think that nurse syringed part of my brains out along with the ear gunge . Nothing gets done here either!
All excitement here this morning ..I thought we were being invaded ..but it was an air ambulance right outside in the park .
Coo ..it was loud .I thought the flying sproutman had arrived .Luckily it seemed they were not needed after all as the paramedics came back from wherever they went and they took off again .

I had an easter egg once ..it was one of those with the violets on it all wrapped in cellophane .It was so pretty I kept it for ages only to find it had gone all horrid when I went to eat it .I was about eight at the time .
Anyway we are getting a Wilkinsons in our High Street soon ...so I won't be about too much ! I'll be busy buying microfibres......must go ..I have a pile of post it's to translate ..kessel steht links Robinia ...bei der kuchenmachine neben der splstein .....auf die platte

At the risk of being called a 'biged' I am now on stage 12. After hours of trying on stage 11. I just came in after a walk with my sister and switched on and did it within about 15 seconds. Don't ask me how I just did. Another thing my sister goes over the lot from Stage 1 every time she signs on. I make a note of the code number and go striaght to the Stage I'm stuck on. I don't know how she does it. :o)
bloomin heck Vinny they're very demanding these biddies aren't they?...don't they know a man likes to retreat into his cave once in a while? I've got a similar retreat for the men in my life

oh I say mrs s I bet that wafted your wincies a bit! I could do with a flying doc it feels like someone's blowing a football up in my side... (I'm a bit concerned about the spiky welcome to your neighbour's house btw)....and what's that say? I'm a boiler & off my trolley? tut...

<whispers to woofy> I'm on level 30....but don't ask me how I got there>

Crikey ..I have just looked on the local newspaper website and that air ambulance did have to lift someone to Norwich from our hospital.Someone veered onto the pavement in their car in the High Street and seriously injured three people They've been campaigning here for ages to have it pedestrianised because it's so narrow and there is too much traffic. Perhaps they'll sit up and listen now .Always the same ....there has to be a b==dy tragedy before they do anything .
Possums. Are the theatres closed on Mondays in the UK...? Here they are, but did I stop to think about that yesterday - no. Not even the box office was open. But I did manage to track down some organic black bohea souchong longan tea, so my expedition wasn't wasted. Spent the evening in Gamla stan (Old Town) with an ex-neighbour eating tortelloni. Before I moved to Stockholm I used to want to live in Gamla stan, but the streets are so narrow that the apartments are probably quite dark, and hardly any houses have lifts.

But it's pretty, there in the distance. Brnda Tomten, the Burnt-Out Lot, used to be the site of a building but there was a fire there in the beginning of the eighteenth century and they kept it as it was as it turned out to become one of the few places where a horse and cart could make a turn.

Vinny are you planning to keep Jude's piccy all to yourself...? yup he sure is

Sigh... I guess I should go downtown again to pick those tickets up - again... dj vu...
does anyone remember peepshow easter eggs? I think they were german. The egg was about the size of your cupped hands, made entirely of sugar decorated with sugar flowers and piped icing. It had a peephole in the pointed end. Inside at the big end was a little scene made up from tiny cardboard figures, flowers trees and a bunny as I recall, arranged in layers like a paper theatre into a little scene. I had one when i was a child, kept it for years but eventually it broke and I ate it!!
oh lordy, are we all intact?... can you put a slug of something in me tea please, I haven't stopped wobbling yet! (for the purposes of our overseas viewers there was an earthquake at about 1am)
scared the bejeezus outa me...I was asleep & became aware of a noise & thought that Chas had come upstairs & was running round - then I remembered he was a wee spaniel not a St Bernard...next thing everything started to shake & rattle & I just froze in panic! I was just about to burst into tears & a neighbour rang to 'see if I was alright' lol....translate as 'I'm scared *********!' hahaha...so notta lotta sleep was had after that...
....funny thing is I was lying awake 2 nights ago & I thought 'we're gonna have an earthquake'.....I forgot until it happenedoooh errr...
Question Author
Morning psychics and shakies !!
Weird wasn't it ? I thought it was me ...having a funny dizzy do but obviously not .I was half asleep and heard this rattling and the bed started to shake ...and then it stopped .Mr.S of course (he who can sleep on a linen line )said it was my imagination !
OOOhhh was I scared. My son text me to see if I was ok and I rang him up for a chat I was a bit shakey for a while after and couldn't get back to sleep very easily.
Still I have something to cheer myself up~ I bought myself a piano and it was delivered today. It's a Yamaha Clavinova and beautiful. There was always a piano at my Mum and Dads house and I played a lot but never possessed one of my own. Well now I do. I'm just off for a practice see you soon :o)
An earthquake! I was in one once but I didn't notice... but it was a very small one and this one obviously wasn't. I had a look at an UK newspaper site where readers had left their comments to the article; one woman said "My parrot fell out of its cage" ... (?) So what did Charlie do? And your lads, Woofy?

The kids here have easter eggs too, but as far as I know the Easter Bunny isn't big here - wasn't when I was a kid anyway but neither was Halloween and now it is. <Does the Easter Bunny bring eggs?? How- ...nevermind. Some questions are better left unanswered and this could be one of them!> Five years ago my eldest half-sister gave my eldest sister a candy Easter egg and when she opened it there was a fetal sonogram inside which read "You are about to become an aunt" - what a fun way to find out. (We don't live in the same part of the country so no egg for me.)

which came first

Oh Jude a piano, that's lovely, you'll have lots of fun with that! You being such a dancer you might eventually wanna think about upgrading

Joyous tidings I'm sure for the East Midlands ladies:
see EMFlatpacks URL

I'm getting a new mouse and I believe it has to be somehow installed so if you don't hear from me for a while I will have gotten it wrong...
That's lovely but can you practice a bit louder Jude & wake this lot up?
My elderly neighbour, bless, thought the quake was the side effects of his new pills, hahahaha...I didn't ask...
Tarquin said he slept through it thanks to a belly full o' beer...tut. Good job I didn't call him for reassurance then. I think it was frightening to me because the noise woke me, in the day time it wouldn't have seemed so bad.....someone on the radio said there are always aftershocks but no one's mentioned any......yet!

poorwoofy, not only talking to yourself but answering your own questions, haha, I know the feeling! They're very sweet, I can see why you wouldn't want to eat them...
flippin heck Jude, you've woken Sweden up!

yo Kit...Charlie never made a sound & when I came down to make a cuppa he just squinted & buried his head in his blanket....so no support there either....men!
