Wednesday. I've had lots of fun this morning. My poota got hacked. I've had the devils own job sorting it out. I think it's alright now. Well, it's working anyway!

No frost this morning, but none too warm either. The bit of wind we had has gone, so it's not too bad.

A lot to do today, friends for lunch tomorrow, herself it lactose intolerant, so a challenge to find something. I think I've got it cracked.

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning Chris. I'll be having a word with the wee lad later!

How are you mate?
Good moaning WBM, those hackers tsk. :-) Fortunately Holly (PC) has tracking and all kind of defences keeping her in track... even warding me against scrupulous E-Mails... unfortunately though it can't ward itself against on line nob-heads.

I didn't mean you BTW... lovely that you have a plan for the day ;-)
I'm as well as can be expected, thank you, Boaty. (I'm still recovering from a week without food - due to a stomach bug - a fortnight ago. I'm fine in myself but my sleep pattern is worse than ever!). I hope that you're well.

Good morning, Arksided.

Morning ark. Mine's pretty good at sussing the knobheads, but this lot were very good....if you know what I mean.
Question Author
Sorry to see that Chris. No fun at all. I'm reasonably well. Coping with the depression, easier now I know what it is.
oooh almost forgot... it's a bit brisk and nippy oop here in West Yorkshire.
Question Author
Ay lad. It's the weather wot duz it.
You can't have a direct weather report from me, Arksided, because that would mean moving this cat off my knee. He'd never forgive me - well, not until the next lot of cat treats, anyway!

However the BBC Weather site tells me that it's mild-ish (8C) here in Suffolk but with a bit of a breeze.
Question Author
Disturbing the cat would be a grave error Chris. They don't forgive easily.
They're a funny lot in West Yorkshire anyway.

I lived in Sheffield for 20 years and the big rivalry wasn't with Lancashire (or anywhere on t'other side of t'Pennines) but with them strange folk in ruddy Leeds!

;-)
Question Author
Still tribal up there Chris.
I just leave the cats to disturb each other, Boaty. They've been taking turns to come on my knee for much of the night, with Biscuit gently nudging Chequers off, followed by Moonbeam positively shoving Biscuit off, followed by Chequers looking for his turn again. Their little sister, Tablo, has wisely stayed in a cat basket!

(Fortunately the fifth cat which I now seem to have, after he walked in a few weeks ago, hasn't started joining in the competition yet!)
Cats love the warmth no messin' I often be shown a but whilst on key board at Bro's.

Back in army days I had an oppo from Leeds, he reckoned it was more sectarian the the middle east!
Question Author
that sounds like a lot of fun Chris! We always had dogs, we always seemed to get the ones that had escaped from the loony bin! Great fun though.
Morning all...
Arksided:
I've sometimes given up using my laptop, and reverted to the PC, simply because laptops get nice and warm and it's impossible to prevent a cat from curling up on the keyboard.

Boaty:
Even parts of Sheffield have different dialects and sub-cultures from each other.
Good morning, Ummmm
Morning Chris....

Weather forecast says lots of wind.
