Today, I bought a Horsea Pottery Fleur butter dish from the BHF charity shop, in town.

I paid £1.99 for it.

Just googled the item and there's one for sale on Ebay for £25.99!

Shall I pop in the shop in the week and give them an extra £10? I feel that I should.

What would you do?

I couldn't do that, Sharon. :-(

I will, Chip.:-)
Tilly, the fact that its for sale doesn’t mean they will make the price. Look at “sold” prices if you want to know the value of something.

Will try to, woof. I'm not an 'Ebayer' so I don't really know my way around the site.

I just googled the item and that came up as an option.
Tilly, take it to Flog It, then share the profits with the charity shop
Question Author
I'm not sure that Flog It would be interested in a 1970'S butter dish, Sibs.
Since the various TV shows highlighted the value of certain pieces many charities have assessors who check any items they think might be worth a bit extra,if they've missed it it's your good luck.

Thanks, Woof. I feel a bit better now. x
After reading this thread, I looked at the Hornsea website and realised that a large box of 70s Saffron could be worth something. Many thanks.

You are welcome, DSJ.
Presumably you bought it because you wanted it so I'd keep it.
