The not so good news is that the quizmaster is Sandy Toksvig..........

Agree great quiz show and also agree not so good a host, Sandy Toksvig is not a good quizmaster I have watched her on another quiz show and had to turn off, trying to be funny and her voice is not quizzing material. Why have they to spoil such good shows with inappropriate hosts!

That was a great show. I do hope they haven't changed the format too much, I don't mind Sandy Toksvig, It will be interesting to watch it again.

They used to be a fella on here called 'Panic Button' that had appeared on it.

and if you win ( which I didnt ) you don't even get a t-shirt

expenses for punters were limited to an off peak train ticket

so not surprisingly it made lots of money for the people making it.

Oh the guy who won when I did it said he was reading - astrophysics at Leeds. He said it was a four year course.

No it isnt I said it is three years. ( as a contestant you would expect me to know how long the university courses were in astrophys. )

well Yeah I had to repeat a year - he said sheepishly

spent all your time in pubs doing pub quizzes instead of studying the stars huh ?

and he reluctantly admitted that that was true....

I love sandy, she's so intelligent and articulate. Never watched fifteen to one though, might have to start now..

I quite like Sandi, I listen to her on radio 4 and she makes me laugh. Not sure about 15:1 though!

I always used to select a contestant then see if I could answer just their questions.............

Oh dear - Sandi Toksvig couldn't ever be as good as William G. I was on 8 times, and he was a total pro - hard but fair!
