I'm old and fusty now and it has been a while since I've been to a Hen Do, so I may be out of touch......
Is it normal for the Hen Do to be held 2 3/4 months before the Wedding?

The hotel staff rushed over and pointed out that no clothes were to be removed as there were other guests around. We sat him down and asked what he really did and he told us he was really a lorry driver from Chessington. That was about as exciting as it got.
On a hen night, there's always a (slight!) risk of getting injured, coming round in Aberdeen, etc.
So it's best to not have it too close to the day of the wedding.
I went on a hen weekend years ago, the weekend before the wedding. The bride stepped awkwardly on the edge of a kerb, fell into the road, and broke a bone in her foot. She got married the following weekend with half her leg in plaster. Inevitably, the groom maintained that it was our fault.
So two months plus is probably a good idea.
