We have booked a table at a lovely restaurant as it's Mr T's birthday.
It's cold and dark and we are going on the bus so that we can both have a drink. I'd rather stay in.
Miserable or what?

Get a Taxi instead, that will be much nicer :-) You will enjoy it once your there.
It's cold, it's dark, you are going on a bus.........whatever are you thinking about?

Stay at home.....;-)
Get out, you will enjoy it all the more and gat a taxi home. I hope you have a lovely evening and happy birthday to Mr. T. Get your glad rags on, girl xxx
Some of the best nights out have been ones that I've been reluctant to go on.

Have a lovely time!

I haven't been shopping so there's nothing 'special' to eat. No wine in either.
Well you have explained why you are going out.......there is bugger all in the house to eat or drink.
Just go, it will be good when you get there. Nice meal and good wine and intellectual chit chat.
The TV is rank rotten tonight anyway because of Children in Need.

Maybe don't drink and wait until you get back from the restaurant to have a nice glass of wine and watch a DVD before having an early night :p.
If you really don't want to go, get a take away delivered instead.

It is freezing outside, so I can't say I blame you for wanting to stay in!
Where are you going Tilly? I saw on a post a while ago that you live in Bedford. I was born in Sheffield, but grew up in Bedford, lived in Putnoe for 21 years. Often wished we'd never moved back here, though the last time I visited Bedford, it had changed quite a lot. The Sorrentino restaurant in Ram Yard was quite the place to be!

I suppose I could rustle up some chips and egg. There's not even any beer or larger.

Nothing for it but to shift myself and make an effort. I think I may be coming down with a cold.
You get your jammies on and I'll be over to take Mr Tilly out for the night of his life......☻

Go on get out there and enjoy it!
;-)
^ You might not get him back in one piece though!

xx
To quote sigh
Ooooo...now did I say anything about bringing him back???.... ☺

You get out there Tilly and let your hair down!

Sir. A, we are going to a restaurant on The Embankment.

I don't know what is was called when you were around Russell's Brasserie perhaps. It has now become an upmarket Indian restaurant called Radhuni.

Sorrentino has changed hands now. I can't think for the life of me what it's called.
you'll be fine once you're out. I get hermititis too now and then and have to force enthusiasm to get my butt up and out!
Hi, Sighers......You can both join us if you like....x
Question Author
My eyes will start watering whilst we are walking along the Embankment. Then I'll get toothache because my face got cold.

Gness, Psybbo and Shoota, how soon can you be here?
