I paid by paypal but the seller wants me to cancel the payment and bill me instead. Paypal take the payments from my bank so I would need to cross check paypal and bank before paying the seller. All this as the seller used anothers paypal account. I cba checking bank refund that might incur charges.

Is it fair to tell the seller to get their payment off the account they used?

why does the seller not want you to pay by paypal? The ebay rules say that they MUST offer paypal as an option.
