Just had a very distraught son on the phone. One of his best mates died of a massive heart attack last night. Only 43 and leaves a wife and three kiddies. So sad and so young.

How awful, x
Oh that's tragic, maggie
So sorry maggie
That's terrible maggie, I keep hearing this lately, about fellas in their 40's.
Sorry to hear this. :(
I'm so sorry to hear, maggiebee x
Your son must be sad and shocked maggie, his friend was young .

Oh, I do feel for you. What can you say to comfort your son? Not a lot really.
Unfortunately these things happen, maggie.......that's not being unsympathetic as it is a tragedy....

One of my golf mates in the USA, a fellow Scot of yours, didn't appear one Sunday for our regular tee-off. He turned up the following Sunday and, before we could pile in about his hangover, he apologised. He had been at a BBQ held by a fellow Scot from Aberdeen, the wife only 37.

His younger child appeared about 10-30, apparently, to say "Dad, Mum, Mrs Brown is floating in the pool." He called the services, his wife shot outside.....

Even though we have put away a relative bucket on various mornings/evenings, he said that they only had had two bottles of wine between the four of them......however, her alcohol level was way, way over........absolute tragedy as she left behind, like your son's mate, two young kiddies.

It is such a shame - all these stories.....just say that you are there, if he needs to chat about it as he is probably feeling vulnerable (as to his own kids?). More practically, not now, has he a will and the two of them, defined guardians etc.........
oh how sad, maggie. such a young man.....life can be very unfair (and downright rotten). his poor wife and kids (and your son) - things like this are very hard to process.....my sympathies to you and your family x
thats sad :-(
Oh dear, that's very sad.
That's so sad maggie, I hope your son is ok :(
I feel for your son and the family of the man who died.
My brother died at 36. My sister at 40, and my son at 38. God Bless.

Oh jeza, I can't even imagine your pain hugs to you both
that is tragic, jeza............(how is mic, by the way?)
Mic is not doing so bad, good days and bad days. I can't get him out that often because of his health. Without moaning, and I'm not, because he does not claim any benefits no one is interested in helping. Maybe I should claim for allowances. I won't because Mic is a proud man and does not want it.
Maggie...so very sorry to hear that. Gx
