Robinia I have done exactly the same with exactly the same product. I have been using Delial Self tan for over 20yrs with never a streak, but changed to this silly spray and regret it terribly. I had dark patched all over my thighs which looked liked bruises. Took DAYS for it to clear. NEVER AGAIN

Oh I wish I'd asked you first neti! I'd seen it recommended in a magazine & for the price range it came out tops alongside Clinique bronzing mousse.
Another false claim I've noticed this week is on some Cif Oxy-gel which claims to be an All Purpose cleaner. You read the small print & it says not on this & that & be careful with the other (always!) So it's not all purpose is it?!!

A bit like that awful Cilit Bang stuff I bought which claims to clean everything except as you say this that or the other.Plus it smells dreadful and I get better results with a bit of washing up liquid and elbow grease.Normal Cif is very good though.Sorry to go off track as this has nothing to do with tanning lotion!!

Yes Cillet Bang is useless - but usually like normal Cif.

there was a sink unblocker (harpic or something) that u could buy last year that u place of the hole and a gas and gel mix cleared any blockage? u could only use it once and i used 3 just to try and clear the blockage and no avail, ended up getting a manual plunger and fixed it in to plunges!!!

And....what about those refillable toilet brush things.Quite useless.I think they were from Harpic or something. How can you clean a loo with one of those.I just buy cheap and cheerful loo brushes which you can scrub with and then chuck them out and buy a new one. They are only 99p in our pound shop and they wanted mega money for those harpic things.

I bought one of those do it yourself electrolysis machines to say goodbye to my bikini line for ever. What a waste of money that was. Take it from me ladies, they DON'T work.

Thanks all! We do waste some money don't we?
I had to laugh when I saw Cillit Bang because my sister bought some a while ago - must ask her what she thought -and I said that I refused to have anything called Cillit Bang in my house. What sort of name is that for heaven's sake!!

And.. what about the chap who advertises it !!
He's like a throwback to the 80's.He may be a perfectly nice person but it's a ridiculous advert.

What about the JML products like the Steam Genie. Even steamed the grease off oven doors. What a load of "\+=&*^%. Has anybody tried their - I think its called - magic block - where you cut a chunk off, wet it and it will clean anything. Hold on though maybe the Steam Genie could take the streaky fake tan off your legs.

I think we have a very saleable idea there Robinia. I'll take my steam genie out of the bin.

I also tried the sink & plughole unblocker (no brand name mentioned!) to no avail. The bf ended up taking the side panel off the bath and manually unblocking the U-bend - a charming job. On a beauty note, I have tried at least 4 or 5 different mattifying/shine-free/oil-absorbing products on my unpleasantly shiny nose to little avail. I'm becoming irritated by that.

I begrudged paying over the odds for hair straighteners as I thought they'd all work the same. How wrong I was!I've since bought Ghds, (supposedly the best on the market) which I'm pleased with, after going through four cheaper sets.
