This website sells apparently "cheap" Edme. I can't really tell if it's seconds or not, so I've taken the liberty of offering the link anyway on the assumption that you're more interested in price, and would happily buy "firsts" if the price is right! Sorry if that was wrong! Anna |

How embarassing! I'm from the Cotswolds! *blushes* I don't remember a place at all. There's a factory shop in Worcester, but I don't think that's Wedgewood! http://www.thewedgwoodvisitorcentre.com/pyv_directions.asp I also found this - but that's in Stoke-on-Trent, so toecrusher must have another option for you - when that receipt comes to light! :-) |

(Sun 22:04 19/Jun/05) Don't worry toecrusher. I certainly don't think you're a fool and I'm sure D Kelly doesn't either. :-) I will just say that Worcestershire doesn't normally get counted as part of the Cotswolds either, but it's the same neck of the woods! :-)

(Sun 23:50 19/Jun/05) thanks acw, geography has never been my strong point, the only time my husband and i argue is when i have to read a map!!! First time i had been to cotswolds/worcestershire, what a beautiful part of the country, hoping to do a narrowboat holiday on the oxford canal some time in the future.

You do realise that Oxford is south of the Cotswolds and even further south of Worcs!? It's a nice part of the world, but not Cotswolds at all! :-p Anyway, let us not hijack! D Kelly - I hope you find your china! :-) |

You can't buy them because any seconds at the wedgewood factory are destoryed and never sold. They did have a few discount shops at various outlet centers but these were never seconds. |

Hi D Kelly There is a Wedgwood seconds Shop at King Street, Fenton, Stoke-on-Trent. Phone 01782 316161. 've been there, bought lots of stuff there, including Edme, and I've just finished a mug of tea in one of the mugs from there. Andt hey are definitely seconds - you can see some sort of flaw in most of them. Tiny but there if you look. And really cheap. I think this mug cost 1 pound. (Sorry no pound sign on my keyboard). They are open 7 days but you should call and check for hours. And they do destroy a lot - heartbreaking to see it outside and sometimes you can hear it being broken - but there's still lots in the shop. And I believe they will ship worldwide. Kerry |
